Abstract

The increasing infrastructure development in Indonesia shows the rapid development of the construction industry sector, which requires efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources. Information technology, especially Building Information Modeling (BIM), has become an important tool in overcoming challenges in the early stages of project design. This study examines the application of BIM in the renovation project of PT. Bentoel Prima factory building, focusing on 3D modeling using Tekla Structure software. Quantitative methods are used to collect primary and secondary data, including material requirement estimation and modeling time analysis. The use of BIM not only increases productivity and efficiency, but also minimizes material waste. So the adoption of BIM technology in the era of industry 4.0 is vital for the success of construction projects, enabling better information integration and error avoidance in the fabrication process.
